These are a spot and double page illustration I did for a fairy tale I wrote. In the story, the mythical spirit of Aurora Borealis is trapped by Winter inside of a glacier. All of the animals of the Arctic are trying to save her, but none make it except a small snow fox, who makes it to the glacier and through his love, he cracks the ice and sets her free. Awwwww.

Looks awesome Raven. I couldn't tell if you were being serious about the conference or not, haha. If you are I'm sure you could still register, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it to go unless you're doing the illustration intensive (I hear it's mostly geared towards writers). Anyway nice to hear from you!

these are very elegant and beautiful pieces, but i wonder if the distortion of the face is a little too much, kida takes away from the facial expression.. just me though
